Midnight Labyrinth is Live!

Purchase Links Amazon iBooks Nook Smashwords Kobo   It’s here! You guys, I’m so excited to share this book with you. I’ve had the bones of this series sketched out for FIVE YEARS. Seriously, I’m really excited. I love this book. I love these characters. They’re weird and wonderful in the best way. (I think.) I’m glad I have readers who appreciate them. I want to thank every one of you who thought these two crazy characters needed their own series, because I loved writing this book and I’m already working on the next one. Thanks for your enthusiasm AND your patience. Ben and Tenzin have taken a very long and winding path to their first novel. I hope you all think it was worth it. I hope you enjoy MIDNIGHT LABYRINTH. Zombie colds, ghost detectives, and book trailers.

Okay, so I have a zombie cold. via GIPHY (That’s me on the left in the pjs with the messy hair.) And by zombie cold, I mean a cold that has me feeling like the walking dead. Now I understand half the country was traumatized by the actual Walking Dead tv show last weekend, so I avoided using any gifs from that show (which I don’t watch) and stuck with the Romero classic. I hope nobody had flashbacks. But why does my zombie cold¬†matter to you? Well, it doesn’t. Not really. I mean, everyone gets colds, right? I don’t get them often, which SHOULD make me grateful, but mostly it just makes me super whiny because I’m a really bad patient and I’m accustomed to good health. Yes, I know that’s obnoxious. The reason this may matter to you is that I was supposed to write a brand new Linx […]

Final installment of The Bronze Blade has posted.

For those of you still reading online, the epilogue to The Bronze Blade has now posted. I will be keeping the story up on the website through the end of the month, then I’ll take it down and it will be available for sale only. Thank you for taking this journey with me. As many reviewers have noted (and Tenzin did warn you from the beginning) this is not a nice story. I debated releasing it at all, but in the end, I’m glad I did. It’s too easy, at times, to enjoy the surface of a character without recognizing the sacrifice it took to make them the person they are. I think this happens in life, too. We often focus on the surface without looking deeper. Never forget, everyone has a story. For Tenzin, that story started in a very dark place. But Tenzin has lived a long time, […]

A new chapter of THE BRONZE BLADE and some news.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s officially Christmas season! Yay! (I love Christmas.) I’m officially off my writing break now that November has passed, and I’m very excited to be getting back to work on THE SINGER. I’m still planning on a Spring release for that book, but I’ll let you know if anything changes. I’m also still working on Tenzin’s backstory, The Bronze Blade, in pieces. Like I’ve mentioned before it’s pretty intense, so I only write bits and pieces at a time, to be honest. I’m posting the chapters in parts, so if you didn’t read the update last week, because you thought you’d already read Chapter One, make sure you check that you got all of it. (Or you’re going to be pretty lost this week.) I only posted the first scene that first week. But Chapter One is complete now, and the […]

Chapter One of THE BRONZE BLADE is posted.

I’m kind of ripping off the bandaid with this one and posting the next two parts of the first chapter at once. So Chapter One: The Girl is finished and posted over on ElementalMysteries.com. I know I’ve said it a number of times, but I feel like I should keep warning you, this story is very dark and it grows increasingly so as the chapters go on. So for those of you who might be triggered by violence and abuse, please be aware. On a happy note, I’m mostly moved in to the new place! My office is unpacked, and life seems to be settling into a new rhythm for me and the SmallBoy, so as soon as the long weekend is over here, I should be able to dive right back into work on THE SINGER. (Which I’m really aching to do.) And so next week, I’ll probably start […]

Early chapter of The Bronze Blade

I’m moving today and tomorrow and I won’t have wifi at the new place until Wednesday, so I’m grabbing a moment to post part one of the new chapter in THE BRONZE BLADE. Next week we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled Tuesday post. Until then, enjoy part one of Chapter One: The Girl. Have a great week, everyone! Elizabeth

Tenzin Tuesdays: THE BRONZE BLADE

So, for those of you who follow me on my Facebook page, I dropped a hint about a surprise for Tenzin fans over on the Elemental fan site: ElementalMysteries.com. The story is this: For a while now, Tenzin’s story has been occupying my mind at odd times. Not her future story, her past. Now, this is something that I’ve sketched out in my notes and even hinted at in other books like The Force of Wind. It’s not pleasant. She’s lived a long time, and those first years for her were really horrendous. But I just couldn’t get certain things off my mind. So, I decided to write them out. I wasn’t even sure I was going to publish it, but in the end, I decided that I wanted to. You do NOT have to read her story for the rest of the books to make sense. This is pure […]
