#GiveawayMay Win a signed copy of A Hidden Fire!

Happy Giveaway May!

As I've mentioned before, May is my birthday month, which means I like to give stuff to you guys. (I know, it's a little backward, but whatever.) Last week, I gave away a signed copy of The Scribe, and this week I'm giving away a signed copy of A Hidden Fire! Along with that is a very pretty blue/yellow/red necklace that reminded me of Beatrice and Giovanni (fire and water, right?).

This giveaway will run until next week Thursday and will be one of SIX giveaways I'll be posting here, on Facebook, and on Instagram. So I hope you follow me all those places! It is open to international readers, of course, and I wish you the best of luck! I'll be giving away signed copies of:

  • A Hidden Fire
  • The Scarlet Deep
  • Shifting Dreams
  • Waking Hearts
  • Shadows and Gold
  • Imitation and Alchemy

along with prizes that go along with the books. Everything from cowboy soap to copper bracelets. (I had so much fun shopping for you guys.) Hope you're looking forward to the fun! Have a great weekend.

Just a quick reminder that the new chapter of The Staff and the Blade has posted today over on Wattpad if you've been following along!

  1. Oh how do I pick just one! If I have to my favorite would be Carwyn. He is sure a bright and lively character, and I kind of wish he was a real person!

  2. Favorite character is tough because I love them all but I think Ben and Tenzin are tied for my favorites right now.

  3. Choosing a favorite is a nearly impossible task, but I think I’d have to go with Carwyn. His personality is just so BIG! (And also hilarious 🙂 )

  4. I love Carwyn, but it’s not about him. I think I love Beatrice the most. It’s a beauty to watch her grow an become the woman she was meant to be. Their love is like no other and sometimes a longing to reread slams into me so hard. That has never happened to me with a novel. So this is easily the best book I’ve ever read. The whole series really.

  5. Ok this is way too difficult, but I think I’m gonna have to go with Ben. You really get to see him grow into this amazing world.

  6. May is a good month to have a birthday!!! Hope it’s a fabulous one. Thanks for the chance to win the book and necklace!!!!

  7. I love Beatrice. I love how well she handles everything that is thrown at her and still comes out swinging. I love that she is both smart and kick-ass.

  8. Wish I was more original, but my initial gut response was Carwyn, so I’ll go with that. Would that we could all have a friend like him. Gemma is up there though (almost named our daughter that!)!

  9. I love Giovanni. Not only did you base him in my city, but B worked at my University. Love the series, but I think Gio will hold hood a special place in my heart.

  10. I love all the main characters, but for me, Tenzin and Ben are my two favorites, especially after Ben has grown up. The relationship between the two is awesome. She’s so fierce, but Ben seems to soften her hard edges, or she just has a soft spot for him.

  11. Oh I want to say all of them! Beatrice wins though. Mostly because I could never narrow down any of the swoony men!

  12. How are we supposed to choose from so many wonderful characters? But my first love wins out, its Beatrice – and a little bit because it’s my daughter’s name too.

  13. Tension is my fave, but I still need to read more of the books. Looking forward to the new book in your Irin Chronicles series.

    • Isn’t it gorgeous? I’m kind of tempted to go back and see if they have another one. I think they’re all one of a kind though. 🙁

  14. Carwyn….even a year after reading his book thinking about him and those Hawiian shirts makes me smile.

  15. I am reading Imitation and Alchemy now. I got a little behind with all the deaths in my family earlier this year. It’s been a long, long year. But Ben and Tenzin are my second favorite set of characters well maybe the third Gio and Bea, and Carwyn and Brit, and Anne and….oh goodness how can you pick a favorite they are all awesome!

  16. I have heard it’s a new adult trend to celebrate your birthday all month long and to do good for others and give back all month long. So. kudos to you for actually doing this.

  17. My favorite… Ben. He brings out the best parts of the other characters, is impossible not to love, and I am rooting for Benzin!

  18. I like Carwyn, but love Gio.
Would also love to know more about Casper. I think he might be rather interesting.

  19. While Gio is heart melting and, Carwyn makes me want to lift a pint, I’ve always had a soft spot for Baojia. I can’t even explain why. Maybe it’s that he’s not as old and super powered as some of the others, but he makes excellent use of what he does have. He seems more vulnerable and, thereby more endearing.
I love all the heroes that you create, Elizabeth. Keep ’em coming!!!!

  20. I love Carwyn! He has such a personality that draws you in and you wish he was among your best friends.

  21. To pick just one??? I don’t know if I can do it! I love Carwyn, he has such a big personality, and is so happy all of the time, but I love that he can also feel down a lot of the time. He just knows that he can’t stay there for very long if he wants to keep living. I love that. (I also love Gio and Beatrice, and of course Ben and Tenzin!!!)

  22. I haven’t read a book in years, I was never big into reading. I only read books I was forced into reading during school, but I recently I have wanted to try to get into reading. I’ve always been intrigued with the idea of controlling the elements, so after some googling I found your books. Without any other knowledge of them other than the idea of controlling the elements I downloaded A Hidden Fire, it had a lot of good reviews and was free, so why not. I won’t lie I hated the idea of vampires and had I known it contained vampires before I downloaded it I never would of read it. I’m so grateful I didn’t know. I fell in love with with characters and the story. This book changed my life, I’ve read through all the elemental mystery series and the elemental world series and plan to read all your other books. I would be so honored to have a signed copy of the book that open my eye to world of reading, but unfortunately I can not pick a favorite character. After reading all their stories and knowing what each one went through I can honestly say I love them all.I can relate to each one in some way or another and to me that is enough of an award.I just wanted to say thank you Elizabeth Hunter for changing my life. I’m able to escape my life in your books and its finally given some peace.

  23. Happy Birthday Month! Mine is next one. 🙂 Hubs is treating me to a weekend away in Venice!!! Can’t wait!!!

  24. These books are incredible. My favorite character is Tenzin, she’s insane and I never know what sh lol do next.

  25. I don’t know that I have just one favorite character. I highly adore Caspar, as well as Isadora too.

  26. Oh, how do I choose? I guess I would have to go with the one that made me fall in love with the whole series, a whole new world, and you as an author…. Giovanni

  27. Happy Birthday! Tenzin is my favorite character because of her unique history and personality. Thank you for the chance to possibly win.

  28. Happy birthday! And how can I choose just one? I love Ben, I love Tenzin although she scares me a little. Gio is wonderful. And Bea – and Bea’s dad, there are just too many good ones. And BTW thanks for the heads up about the audio on the new Irin Chronicles book – I adore that series and I sure hope you can get Zachary Webber to narrate again. He is fantastic.

  29. Happy Birthday to you!! May the year ahead bring you good health and happiness; Peace of mind and prosperity of spirit….(a HUGE Tenzin fan)

  30. This is how much I love these books – my daughter is called Beatrice Elizabeth (she’ll be 2 next month). So I would have to say Bea is my favourite 🙂

  31. If I were to pick one character, it would be Carwyn. He’s such a refreshing character through all the gore and seriousness of the Elemental Mystery series. Although he had a light attitude, his wisdom and devotion to his friends comes through loud and clear.

  32. That is so tough! I love them all. Let me see it this way, if I have a chance to go to a private dinner with one of your characters and I get to talk the night away… Josie or Carwyn 🙂

  33. Carwyn, no doubt! We are visiting my husband’s family in Scotland in July. Enjoy your trip and come to Dunoon : ) please don’t ever stop writing.

  34. Can’t only pick one…. Gio, Carwyn, Bea, Tenzin (the fab four) and Ben (favourite human)…. in no particular order.

  35. I don’t think I can pick just one, I have to say as of right now the one I’m most intrigued by is Ben. I can’t wait to see where his journey takes him.

  36. Thank you for the chance! It’s hard to pick just one but I think my favorite character in this series is Carwyn. He’s just so much fun but at the same time has all these hidden depths 😉

  37. Happy Birthday Elizabeth! May this birthday and all the days of this birthday year shower you with love and laughter, peace and prosperity, joy and juiciness!

    • Ah yes, favorite character? It’s difficult to decide between Carwyn and Baojia, I love them both for varied and numerous reasons. Baojia!
