  1. hmm..Only summer book I’m waiting for is your very own The Staff and the Blade (of course). In the fall, I’m bouncy about The Case of the Purloined Poodle by Kevin Hearne and A Conspiracy of Ravens by Lila Bowen, both are in the fall.

  2. I think I’m honestly the most excited for the release of The Staff and The Blade this summer! Most of my other fave authors published earlier this year: Patricia Briggs, Dannika Dark, Karen Marie Moning, Grace Draven. Now Im just waiting on Damien and Sari!

  3. Happy Birthday, Elizabeth! There are so many summer releases I am looking forward to! A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir, Recreated by Colleen Houck, andThe Curse of Tenth Grave by Darynda Jones just to name a few.

  4. cant wait to read your book the staff and the blade . Also waiting for christine feehans new book should be available in august I believe

  5. The Staff and The Blade is #1, followed by End of Watch by Stephen King, Gambling On Her Dragon by Anna Lowe & Faithful by Alice Hoffman. As you can see, I read anything, but am having palpitations waiting on Damien & Sari!

    • And I was so excited by the fun that I didn’t mention that I was super excited for Allegiance of Honor by Nalini SIngh.

  6. I usually only have a couple of authors that I realllllly wait for, salivating over teasers for their next book. And yours is the only one that I am on pins and needles for this summer. I am very excited for Damien and Sari’s story ????????????????❤️

  7. Honestly, the only one that I’m super excited about is The Staff and the Blade. I’m very excited for Bethany Claire’s Love Beyond Reach, but she pushed out the release date, and it’s completely understandable. So I’m (sort of) patiently waiting for both books!!!

  8. Happy Birthday Elizabeth and many many returns ???? . I am a kindle person but this is my favourite favourite so I would love to have a signed copy!

  9. Gena Showalter is putting out another book in her lords of the underworld series that i am just dying to read!

  10. My most anticipated Elizabeth Hunter book is The Staff & the Blade: Irin Chronicles Book Four! Cannot wait to listen to it!!! Love this entire series and it’s my fave of all your series, Elizabeth!

  11. Denise Grover Swank has some wonderful books coming out along with you, Shannon Mccrimmon, and Rachel Higginson. It will be a good summer for sure! Happy birthday and thanks for the chance!

  12. I tweeted and shared on my home page on Facebook and Twitter goes to both my homepage and my author page I wish you had a really blog this late and I would every blogged it to as it is I will just press this. Sure would like to win an arc, because the in of 2015 the end of it and the beginning of 2016 has really sucked toad turns. I could really use some good luck about now.

  13. Today is my granddaughter’s first birthday, seems like some wonderful people were born in May. Looking forward to The Staff and the Blade.

  14. Currently, I am most looking forward to Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh. But the next Heartstrikers book by Rachel Aaron is also (hopefully) going to be out in the next couple of months and reading through the other comments I noticed even more new books that I definitely want to read as soon as possible! 😀 and then, of course, there is also The Staff and the Blade 😉

  15. Happy Birthday! My Mum’s birthday is in May too (although she’ll be a tad older than you at 69 this year). The only books I really look out for are ones by you and Grace Draven, so the most I’m looking forward to is ‘The Staff and the Blade’. Now if CHarlotte or Anne Bronte or Jane Austen were still alive and writing I would be desperate for one of there books. 🙂

  16. Happy birthday month (birth month?)!! I’m a firm believer in celebrating for more than one day. 😀 Besides the obvious, I’m also looking forward to Intisar Khanani’s Memories of Ash!

  17. Thank you for the giveaway, GORGEOUS BOOK!! Absolutely adore it!! Happy Birthday!! When is yours? Mine is today, May 10. : )

  18. It’s not quite a summer release, but I’m waiting for my library to have A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah Maas.
And of course Damien and Sari’s book,/quadbook!

  19. The Staff and the Blade of course! Unless you have any other Benzin series secret books coming out? Lol.

  20. your book, obviously, but also book 2 and 3 in the paper princess series by erin watt, book 1 ended in a cliffhanger 🙁 and need to wait for the next one

  21. What summer book am I looking forward to…oh that’s easy! I’m so looking forward to The Staff and the Blade!

  22. The Staff and The Blade. You write so well. Other than that, I’m not really keeping up with any new books as I am working my way through Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series. So, that would mean I’m looking forward to book 9 in there series. It’s some ways off yet… LOL

  23. This one is a difficult question, Elizabeth! Most excited about? The Staff and the Blade vs The Curse of the 10th Grave vs both Born of Legend and Dragonmark, plus new Lorelei James, Sarah MacLean, M.L. Buchman, Rebecca Zanetti, Laura Kaye and Trish McCallan. And these aren’t even all on my list.

That said, it’s a squeaker between The Staff and the Blade and The Curse of the 10th Grave. Can’t wait!
