Waking Hearts News and a Giveaway

Waking Hearts - Ebook SmallI’m very excited to announce that RT Magazine has named Waking Hearts one of their TOP PICKS for February 2016!

12458700_962128017213952_1024315738_o“Red-hot Hunter returns with the next book in her Cambio Spring Mystery series, exploring a small California town with supernatural secrets. The relationship evolution between Ollie and Allie is a true joy to read, and the splashes of danger and suspense give it a spectacular, spicy kick!”

—Jill M. Smith, RT Magazine

Audible.com must have gotten the memo that readers were clamoring for the audiobook because they’ve just picked up the rights to Waking Hearts, along with the rights to Long Ride Home and Five Mornings! They don’t usually pick up short stories, so that was a nice surprise that I’m sure fans of the series will really appreciate. I believe that the lovely Liisa Ivery will be returning to voice Ollie and Allie’s story.

Many thanks to my wonderful agent, Lauren Abramo for her help closing the deal with them. Audible is always great to work with, so I know Waking Hearts is in the best of hands.

In celebration of this, I’m going to give away a signed paperback to one random reader who comments here on the blog! Just leave a comment and you’re entered to win. Open to international readers. I’ll pick a winner 1/21/16 at 9pm PST.

  1. Allie and Ollie’s story was my very favorite of the Cambio Springs Mysteries. Keep on writing them, Elizabeth. And thank you!

  2. Congratulations, Elizabeth, on the fantastic review of Waking Hearts! I was so glad to see you get the credit you deserve for such an outstanding series. Of course, it is my favorite so I was really happy!! Thank you again for the incredible journeys your amazing talent blesses us with.

  3. I truly enjoyed the Cambio Springs Mysteries. I love diverse personalities especially in relation to the animal the shift into. Would to win one of the givaways!!!

  4. Love the Cambio Springs Mysteries. Love how e shifting started. The personalities each shifter has in relation to the animal. Love mysteries so it was a bonus that it had that plus romance and shifters.

  5. Congratulations! Long Ride Home was the first book I read of yours and I have loved the series ever since. I also love your other series, however, just can’t get enough!

  6. Well, you know I love you. I have the paperbacks of the elemental mysteries series and a SIGNED copy of this would be a treasure to me.

  7. Congratulations! You certainly deserve the recognition…it’s because of you, that I have had certain obsession with chocolate cake since reading this one 😉 so, thanks for that too lol

  8. A well-deserved honor, Elizabeth! Allie and Ollie’s story was well crafted, romantic and suspenseful. I appreciated being back in the springs and visiting with all of my old friends.

  9. I’ve yet to read the Cambio Springs novels – book 3 sounds just as intriguing as the first 2 (both purchased in November, and lost in the sea of books on my kindle!). Time to get started, I think 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Congratulations! You deserve all the recognition, you are one of the few authors for whom I make a point of buying every new book release -because I know I will love it. 🙂 No matter which world you write about, you ensure it exists in a completely believable universe. That is a rare talent. Thanks so much for providing me with many hours of happiness.
