Official Release Day: THE SCRIBE

TheScribe_ebookHere it is, folks! Today is the official release for The Scribe. Early reviews are in and very, very positive.

“THE SCRIBE is a perfect marriage of urban fantasy with tinges of romance. Creating a world in which ancient evil battles for turf and the heart, and the innocent are trapped in the crossfire, [Hunter] leads us on a riveting journey through the streets of Old Istanbul and old magic. An awesome ride!” —Killian McRae, author of 12.21.12

4.5 out of 5 stars “I am in love with this new series.” —Karina, NOCTURNAL BOOK REVIEWS

“5 stars …this may actually be THE best thing I have read this year.”—Douglas Meeks, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer, Paranormal Romance Guild

“Hunter’s finest work to date…. This book is simply stunning.”—Leisha O’Quinn, Rolopolo Book Blog

Hidden at the crossroads of the world, an ancient race battles to protect humanity, even as it dies from within.

Ava Matheson came to Istanbul looking for answers, but others came looking for her. A reckless warrior guards her steps, but will Malachi’s own past blind him to the truth of who Ava might be? While ancient forces gather around them, both Ava and Malachi search for answers.

Whispering voices. Deadly touch. Their passion should be impossible… or it could be the only thing that will keep them alive.

THE SCRIBE is the first book in the Irin Chronicles, the new paranormal romance series from Elizabeth Hunter, author of the Elemental Mysteries.

  1. YEA!!! Finally here. Can’t wait to start reading later today. 🙂 You are so talented. Thank you for sharing your gift of words with the masses.

  2. Oh, I kind of wish my husband wasn’t coming back into town tonight, I have to clean the house and I just want to read!!! I can’t wait!

  3. Can’t wait to read it. It will be necessary to bump it to the front of the queue, but then it is an Elizabeth Hunter book and I like to eat my dessert first sometimes.

  4. Okay, I know it’s too early for the screams of “give me the next one!”, but I will say that I’m thinking of starting a blog with the sole purpose of maybe, just maybe, getting my hands on the next one a little bit sooner… I’d have to think of things to write about to seem legit but I think it would be worth it

  5. Good news, just downloaded mine!!! Bad news have to work ;(( know what I will be doing on breaks and lunchtime. Happy, happy, happy!!!

  6. Rereading The Scribe for the 3 rd time. “Come back to me.” went from Ava ‘s plea to Malachi back to B ‘s plea to Gio in Fall of Water. So much emotion conveyed in just 4 words. You are such an amazing writer!

  7. I just wanted to echo everyone else’s comments, I started reading it and couldn’t stop until I was done. You are one of the few authors who have brought me to tears with both the Elemental Series and now the Scribe. Thank you!

  8. Once again you have written a book that simply can not be put down and leaves you longing for the next one! Absolutely LOVED this book!
