  1. Yes, I’m stalking you. No, I’m not dangerous. I’ll just be over there, in the corner, waiting for this to come out. 🙂

*ahem* Seriously, though, that cover is gorgeous! I’ve loved the sneak peeks you’ve given us and can’t wait for this to come out. *squeeee*

  2. Elizabeth, you are an amazing author! You are at the top with my favorites: J.K. Rowling, James Rollins and very few others. I absolutely loved the Elemental Mysteries. Have read them over and over. To say I’m excited for this new series would be an understatement. However, when do we get to go back to Cambio Springs? Please keep writing. You are a very powerful Bard, and the world would be at a loss without your gift.

  3. I love the cover and am really excited about your new series…can’t wait for it to be released. I also hope you will be releasing the next Elemental World soon too. I miss me Elemental friends. You are truly an incredible author…love your books.

    • You know, Carol, I just needed a bit of a break from the Elemental World. I’ve been writing (almost) non-stop in that series for over two years now. The last thing I want is to ever get sick of it, because I love it so much. So there will be new EW books, for sure. But I needed a change of pace. So glad you’re excited about the new series!

  4. Elizabeth that cover is awsome, you are an amazing writer, I love your books and I can’t wait for this one to come out. Take care xx

  5. I can’t wait Elizabeth. You are one of my favourite authors and I love your characters. The cover looks fabulous!

  6. Totally utterly awesome cover. Absolutely love it. Mind you it could be plain brown and I’d still read it if it had your name on it. Another commenter nailed it on the head when she compared her excitement to that of Harry Potter. I get that little buzz of anticipation with your books that are reserved for a select few.

  7. Beautiful cover! So do we have a date? I’ve watched/read your promos wondering if they really work to create reader loyalty/enthusiasm (I write too). And I can testify they do indeed work, even on a crusty old ex-journalist like me. SO WHEN do I get my next fix?

  8. Dear Ms. Hunter,

My sister ecstatically sent me an excerpt from your book, Scribe where you write about a man with a Farsi accent but no- guess what, he’s an Assyrian. Not to any surprise of mine, you are historically and mind blowing incorrect. Being that I am an Assyrian, we are not “speaking Farsi with an Assyrian accent” a quick trip to Google, Bing or even Wikapedia would have enlightened you to who my people are and where we came from. I could be more offended by your lack of research, no wonder you live in a world of NON-Fiction, who cares if your historical facts are blatantly and offensively incorrect just as long as you’re writing/misinforming your readers.

    • Unfortunately, Tina, I believe you misunderstood the passage or were not sent enough context. I am fully aware that Assyrians are not Persians, nor is Farsi even in the same language group. The passage you’re referring to was was talking about an Assyrian man who was speaking Farsi with an Assyrian accent. As I’m sure you’re aware, there are many bilingual Assyrian speakers, and when they speak other languages, they would have (naturally) an Assyrian accent. The accent was what Ava was referring to, as I studied the Aramaic language group as part of my research for The Scribe. And Assyrian, as I’m sure you know, is part of the same language group.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

      Sincerely, Elizabeth Hunter
