Ten things I learned about myself while writing.

  1.  It wasn’t a short attention span, it was research!
  2. I don’t need nearly as much sleep as I thought I did.
  3. That checkered job history has finally come in handy. (see #1)
  4. Getting rid of the voices in my head wasn’t nearly as hard as the doctors said it would be.
  5. There are muscles in my back I didn’t know I had … and they are sore.
  6. I use the word “actually” in conversation way more than I realized.
  7. I’m fairly creative at thinking of ways to kill people.
  8. I really am that antisocial.
  9. I’m never as brilliant as I think I am at 2 a.m. AND because I had to throw in a sweet one …
  10. I married a really great guy, who is way more supportive than I ever could have imagined.
